Colour: intense ruby red with a brick red tinge.

Aroma: A lovely nose with notes of red fruits like cherries.

 

Taste: Full bodied palate with dried fruits, red currants, tar and leather. Well balanced with strong tannins and a long finish.

 

Ageing: 10 years in oak barrel.

 

Gastronomic matches: wild fowl, braised meats and elaborate dishes, spicy cheeses.Perfect with truffle and mushrooms.

 

Serving temperature: 20/22° C.
